It highlights the Promethean struggles of Nikola Tesla as he attempts to transcend entrenched technology--including his own--by pioneering a system of wireless energy that will change the world. The movie stars Ethan Hawke as Nikola Tesla and Kyle MacLachlan as Thomas Edison. Eve Hewson, Jim Gaffigan, Hannah Gross and Josh Hamilton are also featured. Tesla will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 27, 2020, where it will appear as the winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize.
